James McBurney
Center Executive Director

James McBurney is a native of Kanawha Valley. He gradutated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Public Administraion Certificate in 2008. James started at Genesis Hilltop Center in June 2012, and transitioned to Teays Valley Center in March of 2015. James has been a licensed administrator since 2010. He is focused on providing quality care outcomes and customer service.

Adam Skeens
Center Nursing Executive

Adam is from Chesapeake Ohio and attended Ohio University. He has been a nurse since 2007 and led as a manager for 8 years, 2.5 of those as a Nurse Executive. Adam came to long term care because he enjoys the prospect of making a difference in the lives of customers and staff.  He enjoys coming up with effective and efficient solutions that improve the delivery of quality care. Adam got married in 2011, has a daughter, and is a proud Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Michelle Uldrich
Director of Admissions

Michelle graduated from Marshall University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.  She began her career in non-profit healthcare coving the state of West Virginia for the next 14 years leading her to become very active in her community as well as assisting with her local Fire Department.  She resides in Teays Valley with her wonderful 6 year old son.  She strives on making a difference and proving quality care and resources.

Mary Beth Bird
Rehabilitation Program Manager

Mary Beth grew up in the Scott Depot area of West Virginia. She graduated from the University of Charleston in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Mary Beth has been with Genesis for 24 years working in both the nursing field and therapy department.  Married to her husband Greg for 23 years, they have 2 beautiful daughters and are very active in the community. Mary Beth's focus is customer care and providing excellent customer service. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her rehabilitation team and is a great asset to Teays Valley Center.
