Springbrook Welcomes New Center Nurse Executive

Springbrook is pleased to announce Deb Bostic, BSN, RN as the new Center Nurse Executive. Deb comes with thirty-one years of nursing experience in both the acute and long-term care settings. Deb proudly holds the title of Maine Chapter President of the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration.

Originally from Chicopee, MA, Deb relocated to Maine full-time after many years of vacationing in the state. She was pleased when the opportunity at Genesis arose, as her passion for long-term care and her background in critical care made Springbrook an ideal fit.

Deb felt that Springbrook offered everything under one roof: dementia care, transitional care, long-term care, and ventilator care. She firmly believes that Springbrook is the center for nurses to not only learn, but also continually expand upon their clinical skills.

Deb states her nursing philosophy is best described by Maya Angelou’s quote, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Deb has held a leadership role in various healthcare settings for over twenty years. As a leader, she focuses on mentoring, coaching, and supporting the staff. She strives to inspire others to continually think critically in providing quality and person-centered care.
For 2017, Deb’s goals are to promote a healthy work environment, achieve clinical excellence, and improve quality in patient care outcomes.
