Our Leadership Team

Joel Rogers
Center Executive Director

Joel grew up in the North Deering district of Portland.  As a graduate of Portland High, he has maintained ties to the school throughout his adult life as a coach and alumni liaison raising monies to fund student/athlete needs. For the last 33 years Joel and wife Katie have lived and raised their two daughters in Falmouth. A graduate of St. Michael’s College, Joel has held his Administrator’s license since 2002. He is a committee member of Aging in Place for the town of Cumberland.  Due to his father’s passing at the young age of 71 from Alzheimer’s, the opportunity to come to Sedgewood Commons was the ultimate professional experience to help, listen to and lend guidance for those families impacted by this disease.  Joel’s door is always open, no appointment necessary. Giving tours at Sedgewood are highlights of his daily routine.
