Our Leadership Team

Don Bazzell, MSW, LNHA
Center Executive Director

Don has over 30 years of professional experience working within the healthcare system.  Don began working with vulnerable and at-risk clients as a Military Police officer in the U S Army. After completing six years of active duty, Don earned his bachelor's degree in Social Work from Florida State University (FSU) and was awarded the DeGraff Scholarship, allowing him to continue his education, earning his Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW).  Don has held numerous leadership/management positions that include Executive Director of residential and academic/mental health treatment programs; Superintendent of a Regional Detention Center and as a private business owner. Prior to becoming part of the RiverRidge family; Don was the Deputy Administrator of the Glencliff Home; a 120 bed state operated long term care facility in New Hampshire for adults with mental health and developmental disabilities, Don is a certified instructor in Crisis Intervention Services and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  Most important, Don is a father of three adult daughters and one son.

David Langstaff, RN
Center Nurse Executive

David has been working in skilled healthcare for over 12 years. Seven of those was as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending Nursing school. David graduated in the Fall of 2012 with his Associates Degree in Science in Nursing. He began working a Registered Nurse at River Ridge in July of 2012 as a floor nurse and advance to the position of Unit Manager in May of 2013. In the role as Unit Manger, David demonstrated a firm understanding of regulatory compliance while serving the brain injury community. He was promoted to Center Nursing Executive in May of 2016.

Director of Brain Injury Services

Dr. Cara Orton is the Director of Brain Injury Services at RiverRidge Center.

Meghan Jodrie
Director of Admissions and Marketing

Meghan earned her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine. She is dedicated to working with the geriatric population and has worked in the healthcare industry since 2008. Meghan also holds a  Residential Care Administrator License in the state of Maine. Meghan joined the Genesis team in 2015 and strives to ensure that quality and service exceed family and customer expectations.
