Center Executive Director

Diane is a licensed NHA beginning her career in long-term care 10 years ago as a payroll coordinator. Diane's dedication to outstanding clinical and operational outcomes ensures a staff dedicated to compassion and quality services.

Chalena Williams, RN
Center Nurse Executive

Chalena was born and raised in Letcher County in Eastern Kentucky where she graduated nursing school at Southeast Community and Technical College in 2012 with her LPN and 2013 with her RN. She has many years of experience as a CNA prior to pursuing her career as a nurse.  Chalena worked in LTC and then started in acute care at Pikeville Medical Center where she was a shift supervisor before exploring travel nursing. As a travel nurse she worked for Genesis and became one of the team members in Louisville. Chalena has been married for 8 years and has 3 children who keep her busy. Chalena is currently pursuing her Master’s at Aspen University.  Chalena has a passion for providing care for residents and using a “team approach” to provide to best care possible.

Leighana Cashon
Director of Admissions

Leighana started her career as a pharmacy technician specializing in long term care, where she learned she enjoyed working with the elderly population. She later moved on to be the Director of an in-home care agency where she helped families advocate for appropriate transitions and compassionate care. She joined the Regency team in March 2017 with more than 8 years of experience in the long term care industry and 4 years’ experience in senior transitions.

Melanie Morgan MS OTR/L
Rehabilitation Program Director

Melanie graduated from Spalding University in 2010 with a Bachelors in Occupational Health Sciences and a Masters in Occupational Therapy.  Melanie's experience consists of working with acute, rehabilitation and skilled nursing patients.  She has been with Genesis HealthCare as an Occupational Therapist since 2010 and became the program manager in early 2014.  Melanie leads an excellent rehabilitation team that is dedicated to achieving the best patient outcomes.   She enjoys working with the adult and geriatric population and seeing the outcomes that can be achieved to assist residents to return to their maximum functional abilities.
