Our Leadership Team

Jan M. Hopkins, RNC; LNHA; MSHSA

Jan graduated from Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Registered Nurse. She obtained a Certificate in Gerontology from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and she is certified as a Gerontological Nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Hopkins completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois in the field of Health Services Administration where she obtained the degree of Master of Science. She has served as the Administrator of the Phillipsburg Center since July, 2002.

Eric Miller
Director of Nursing

Eric began his career with Genesis HealthCare in 1996 as a certified nursing assistant at Brakeley Park Center and was the first speaker and graduate of the Geriatric Nursing Assistant Program. In 1999, Eric became an LPN and took an opportunity to be an MDS Coordinator and Ventilator Unit Manager. He returned to Genesis HealthCare in 2002 at Lopatcong Center and continued his education. In 2009 Eric graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College and proceeded to become the center’s NPE then ADON. In 2013, Eric took on his current role as Director of Nursing at the Phillipsburg Center

Jennifer is the Admissions & Marketing Director at Phillipsburg Center.

Ronél Ströh Rechen
Rehabilitation Program Director

Ronél has worked for Genesis Rehab Services since 2000 as Director of Rehab and also as an Occupational Therapist. She obtained her Occupational Therapy degree in 1993 in South Africa, where she worked as a therapist prior to coming to the United States. Ronél has had experience in a variety of areas including acute care hospitals, school settings, home health and early intervention. The majority of her experience over the past 15 years has been in Sub-Acute Rehab and Long Term Care where she has the daily pleasure and privilege of providing skilled Occupational Therapy to patients. One of the most rewarding aspects of the job is sharing life stories and humor to our residents to assist them in reaching and maintaining their highest level of independence and quality of life.
