Her true desire is to enhance a positive experience for those in need of skilled nursing. She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mary Kay Stover, RN
Center Nurse Executive

Mary Kay’s diverse experience in healthcare began as a home health aide and continued as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with practice in Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing, psychiatric nursing, and neurology.  Recognizing the need to build a broader range of skills, she returned to school to become a Registered Nurse and earned a BSN from the Fairmont State University School of Nursing. Experience in the acute care setting added to her knowledge and clinical skills, but returning to Skilled Nursing in a leadership role feels like home.

After living in NJ for a few years, she relocated to become a member of the Genesis family, where she is excited to build strong relationships with our residents. She is a loving mother to her fur-baby, and enjoys doing outdoorsy things with him like hiking & kayaking.
