Our Leadership Team

Matt Torres
Center Executive Director

From the young age of 15, Matt started his health care career as a dietary aide at Kutztown Manor while attending Kutztown Area High School. Because he enjoyed mingling with the residents and being involved in dining services, he decided to obtain his Dietary Management and Food Safety professional certification.  Over time, his versatility, critical thinking skills, and keen eye for detail allowed him to further his career.  Now with over 20 years of management experience in retirement communities throughout the Reading & Lancaster areas, Matt has been involved in a wide range of projects pertaining to policies and procedures, team-building , and department logistics.  Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration for Albright College. In his free time, Matt enjoys tinkering with his remote-controlled planes and working on home projects.
