Lee Dwinal
Center Executive Director

Lee has been a Genesis employee for 18 years. He began as a Food Service Director and held that role for over 15 years. Lee was then promoted to Assistant Administrator through the LDP and earned his NHA in 2011. When the position became available, Lee made the transition to Berkshire Commons as the Administrator.

Kim Kostival
Admissions Director

Kim has been working for Genesis HealthCare since 2002.  She is a 1988 graduate of Kutztown University and has been working in the senior health care field for over 24 years. Kim is an active member of the "Berks Elder Care Network", Board Member and Conference Chair person for the "Circle of Life Coalition", volunteer for the "Berks County Meals on Wheels" program, and active speaker in the community on senior care issues.  Kim loves the opportunity to share her love and appreciation of seniors with her children, who are also active volunteers at Berkshire Commons.

Wendy Long
Resident Care Director

Wendy joined Berkshire Commons in October, 2013.  She is a 1996 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing where she received her degree as a RN.  She came to us with over 13 years nursing experience in the skilled nursing, hospice care, and physician offices.  Her background has been a wonderful asset to Residents at Berkshire Commons.

Kate Johnson
Rehabilitation Program Director

Kate is a graduate from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Masters of Science degree in Communication Science.  She has 35 years experience in the healthcare field, working as a speech-language pathologist in adult and pediatric settings. Kate joined Genesis Rehab Services in 2006 and accepted the position as Director of Rehab at Berkshire Commons in  2014. She was also a graduate of the Leadership Berks Class of 1993 and served on the board of the Reading Musical Foundation and served as deacon at First Presbyterian Church. Kate enjoys reading, music, gardening and spending time with her two young daughters.
