Kristine Perry, MBA, LNHA
Center Executive Director

As the CED of American River Center, Kristine brings over 15 years experience in healthcare and related fields. She earned her Master's Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico in 2008. Prior to becoming a Nursing Home Administrator in 2010, Kristine was in the service sector, safeguarding the Medicare and Medicaid programs from fraud and abuse. She is dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through providing quality care at American River Center. Kristine was inspired to embark on her healthcare career because of the fond memories of her great grandmother. She grew up in Northern California and is committed to continue serving the community of Carmichael and the greater Sacramento area.

Erin Mancinas, RN
Center Nurse Executive

Erin brings over nine years of experience with her as a Registered Nurse providing care in both the sub-acute and long term care settings.  Erin grew up in Southern California but moved north to pursue her nursing degree at American River College.  She fell in love with the local Carmichael community and its fellow-ship, so she now calls Carmichael home.   As a dedicated nursing leader, Erin is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the residents and patients we are honored to care for at American River Center.

Michelle Johnson, CPHT
Director of Marketing and Admissions

With over 15 years experience in the healthcare field, Michelle is a valuable member of the leadership team at American River. Starting her career in the USAF in 1996, Michelle later transitioned into pharmaceuticals as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. During that time, she developed a strong connection with assisting her customers and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has been an advocate in the skilled nursing community for over 10 years in and around the Carmichael community and is a valuable resource for our community healthcare partners and patients during the admission process.

Michelle Hernandez, COTA/L
Director of Rehabilitation

Michelle joined the team at American River with six years of experience in skilled nursing rehab as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has many years of experience as a personal caregiver for her late mother who had Multiple Sclerosis.  Michelle is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through the rehabilitation program by providing dynamic, fun approaches to healing.
